Hello. I’m Jediael, a multifaceted family woman who is passionate about storytelling and writing. I am a wife, mother and an award-winning Journalist turned content writer from Jamaica. By day I’m a PR professional in corporate and by night I manage this awesome space, sharing the wonders of motherhood and highlighting the experiences of millennial parents. You can learn more about that here.
When I’m not building this Village of support for millennial parents in Jamaica and abroad, you can find me spending time with my amazing daughter and husband. Being a parent is hard work and since I became one, I have certainly learned a lot about myself in my (measly) two years in this hood (get it?…Parenthood). For me, The Village Ja is practically therapy that has put a face to my fears as a parent and has enabled me to feel stronger, as I connect with other millennial parents having similar experiences.
Apart from writing, I’m a true homebody who enjoys cozying up with my family and having a grand time with our goofiness at home. I enjoy listening to music, dancing (although I promise I can’t), watching animated movies (sometimes more intently than my daughter), and reading romance novels. Yes, I’m a sucker for love.
I hope you enjoyed learning more about me. For more on the genesis of The Village Ja, click here.
